課程概述 |
Oral Training III is a one-semester, two-hour weekly course offered in the fall semester only.
|
|
課程目標 |
Oral Training III focuses on the presentational skills of public speaking and debate. Students must pass an audition on the first day of class in order to be allowed entry. The syllabus includes training in both the planning and presentation of speeches (descriptive, narrative, argumentative, show and tell) as well as practice in extemporaneous and impromptu speaking. The semester finishes with an introduction to standard and clash styles of debating. No textbook is used.
